📄 Tell Your Rep: To Classify These Hidden Industries!
We hit a setback in our fight for economic transparency: the NAICS 2027 comment period closed February 18, 2025, before my proposals were submitted on July 2, 2025. Now, we need an exception for off-cycle review to classify Foreign Labor Placement and International Student Enrollment as U.S. economic industries.
Using the letter template below, urge your state and federal representatives—your Governor, State Senators, and Congressional Members—to support this exception with the U.S. Census Bureau and OMB.
These sectors generate billions in economic activity, displace American workers and students, and function like structured service pipelines. Yet, they remain unclassified, untaxed, and unregulated—operating outside the accountability applied to every other major industry in the U.S.
This is not a call for immigration reform!
This is a call for economic transparency and proper classification.
🧭 Why This Matters
Supporting an exception for these NAICS codes is the critical first step toward:
- Accurate tracking and oversight
- Robust regulation and accountability
- Laying the groundwork for policies protecting U.S. citizens
Think of it as Phase 1—the foundation that enables every other reform to follow.
